God of all Creation and Giver of Life, we lay our concerns about the disease that is ravaging our world before you, and we come to you in our time of need

We come to you with our fears, we come to you with our anxieties and our doubts, and we look to you as a light in the darkness

We thank you for the gift of medical science and the creation of a vaccine to combat coronavirus and its potential to save lives 

Bring healing to the sick, protect the vulnerable, give wisdom to scientists, provide insight to physicians, give grace to medical professionals and essential workers, supply caregivers with compassion and endurance, endow faith leaders with courage and resilience, give comfort to the grieving and receive those who have died into your eternal home

Strengthen our communities, unite us in our compassion, remove all fear from our hearts and fill us with confidence in your unfailing care

We place our trust in you as the Source of Life for the living of these days.
